Refund Policy

At DFW Home Inspectors, we value your business and strive to provide quality, professional inspection services. Because our work is a service based on time, expertise, and immediate delivery of value, our refund policy is as follows:
Before the Inspection

If you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled inspection, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid.

If you cancel less than 12 hours before your inspection and do not rebook, a cancellation fee of 25% may apply.

If you cancel your inspection 1 hour or less before the scheduled time, a 25% cancellation fee may apply if you choose to rebook. If you do not rebook, a 50% cancellation fee may apply.
After the Inspection Has Begun

Once the inspection has started, fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether you choose to proceed with the transaction. This is because the time, expertise, and reporting process are already in progress.
Service Issues

If you believe there was an error in your inspection or report, please contact us within 3 business days. We will review your concern and, if warranted, take corrective action or offer a partial refund at our discretion.

Refunds will not be granted for conditions not visible or accessible during the inspection, or for issues arising after the inspection date.
How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Refund amounts will not exceed the total fee paid for the inspection.
